Email and SMS Text marketing can be one of the most effective ways to market to the customers of your upcoming picture day event. And it is a great way to compliment your other sales and marketing tools.
Your prospect list is a csv file of emails and/or phone numbers that belong to the potential customers for your upcoming picture day event that you have permission to use. The information below will guide you how to import this list into an event. Please verify you have the correct information for your event. A prospect list cannot be reset should you accidentally load the wrong list.
1. FORMAT YOUR PROSPECT LIST
Your prospect list must be a comma delimited CSV file. The emails you wish to import must be formatted into a single column. One cell per email. If you have phone numbers also, the corresponding phone numbers should be in the column next to the emails. Any other column will be ignored.
2. GO TO THE EVENT YOU WISH TO ADD PROSPECTS TO.
Go to the manage events page and locate the event you wish to add prospects to.
3. VERIFY MARKETING IS ENABLED
If it is not, click the edit button at the bottom of the screen and enable marketing. NOTE: If you disable marketing for an event that has already had at least one broadcast go out, you will not be able to re-enable marketing at a later time.
4. VERIFY THE CORRECT PROSPECT CAMPAIGN IS ASSOCIATED.
If it is not, click the edit button at the bottom of the screen and change the prospect campaign associated to this event.
5. CLICK ON EDIT EVENT
6. IMPORT YOUR PROSPECT LIST
Click the “Add Prospects” icon to the right of your prospect campaign
7. INDICATE WITH COLUMNS TO IMPORT
Select which column is the email addresses and, if you have them, which column contains the phone numbers. Otherwise leave it as is. Then click upload.
8. VERIFY THE NUMBERS ON THE IMPORT SUMMARY LOOK CORRECT.
9. CLICK SAVE
