Creating a marketing campaign in imago is an effective way to reach your audience and boost your business. This tutorial will walk you through the process of setting up and customizing a campaign, from duplicating a default template to editing email broadcasts and SMS messages. You'll learn how to personalize content, upload images, and test your campaigns for a smooth launch. Whether you're targeting prospects, leads, or buyers, this guide will help you build a successful marketing campaign step by step.
1. Go to "Market + Sell" > "Campaigns." For each journey, there are default campaigns for your prospects, leads, and buyers.
2. Click the "..." to the right of an existing campaign that most closely resembles what you want, and select "Duplicate Campaign."
3. Name your campaign, choose your target, and project journey. Click "Copy Campaign."
4. Your new campaign will appear in the list alphabetically. Select your new campaign to begin editing it.
5. You will now see the list of broadcasts within the campaign. If there are any broadcasts you don't wish to use, you can delete them.
6. Select the first broadcast to begin editing.
7. Name the broadcast, and adjust any triggers you want to change.
8. Edit the email subject line, and the body of the email using the available tools.
9. To personalize the broadcast, use "Marketing Keywords" to pull in specific project data, such as Project URL, Project Name, Picture Day Date, etc.
10. To change or add an image, you can upload your own images. Click "Get Image" to upload new images.
10a. A new browser tab will open your Media Library. Under "Upload new Media" drag in your images, or click to select from a folder.
10b. Click the "..." and select "Copy URL to clipboard"
10c. Go back to the broadcast editor, click the image icon, paste in the image URL, and click "Insert."
Your new image is inserted to the body of the email.
11. Be sure to preview your email on Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile.
12. Edit the broadcast for SMS text messaging.
13. Send yourself a test of the broadcast.
14. If everything looks good, click "Save."
15. Congratulations! This broadcast is complete.
16. Repeat for each broadcast within this campaign.
